What transparent pricing means

Every project we take on comes with a complete, itemized estimate — labor, materials, subcontractors, and any other costs laid out clearly so you know where your investment is going.

We're always happy to talk through numbers before you've made any commitment. A preliminary estimate costs nothing and gives you a realistic picture of what a project like yours typically involves.

The ranges below are honest starting points based on real projects. Yours may fall higher or lower depending on the scope, materials, and any structural changes involved — which is exactly what a consultation is for.

  • "We'd rather give you accurate numbers that feel high than comfortable numbers that turn out to be wrong. You deserve to plan with confidence."

What each tier means for your bathroom remodel

Refresh

All new finishes and fixtures in a secondary or guest bath, working within the existing plumbing and layout. The biggest variable here is tile — the range of what's available is enormous, and your choices will move the number meaningfully.

Full Remodel

This is where most of our primary bathroom projects land. You're investing in materials and a design that will serve you for 15–20 years. We'll help you prioritize where to spend and where you have flexibility.

“Luxury Build”

Projects in this range typically involve moving walls, relocating plumbing, or building something that doesn't exist yet. The materials are at the high end — stone, custom millwork, spa-grade fixtures — and the result reflects it.

Bathroom Renovation Costs

Bathroom remodels vary widely based on size, scope, and the materials and fixtures you choose. The ranges below reflect full remodels — from demolition through final finish — for bathrooms in Santa Cruz County homes. Cosmetic updates or partial remodels will fall below these ranges.

Aging-in-Place Modifications

Walk-in showers, grab bars, wider doorways, and zero-threshold entries designed to make a bathroom safer and more accessible — without looking institutional. We take this work seriously and approach it with the same design care as any other project.

Custom Vanity & Storage

From $3,500 — included in full remodels

Size of the space

The single biggest cost driver. More wall space means more product. We design to fit your actual space — not a standard footprint — so you're not paying for product you don't need or losing storage you could have.

Materials and finish

Standard white laminate is durable and clean. Wood-grain and matte finishes step up the look considerably. High-end solid materials and specialty finishes are available for clients who want the closet to feel like furniture.

What goes inside

Drawers cost more than shelves. Soft-close hardware, pull-out accessories, integrated lighting, and islands all add to the investment — but they're also what makes a closet feel genuinely custom. We'll walk you through what's worth it for your situation.

What shapes the cost of a custom closet

Custom Closet System Costs

Custom closet pricing is driven by three things: the size of the space, the materials you choose, and how much storage you actually need. The ranges below cover fully designed and installed systems — not off-the-shelf organizers. Every system we build is designed specifically for your space and how you use it.

Reach-in Closet

$2k+

Standard bedroom or hallway closet

A fully custom reach-in system — designed around your wardrobe and installed to look built-in. A significant step up from wire shelving in both function and finish.

  • Custom-sized shelving and hanging sections

  • Drawer bank option

  • Choice of laminate finishes

  • Professional installation

  • Adjustable components

Walk-In Closet

$5k+

Primary or large bedroom closet

A fully designed walk-in system built around how you actually dress. Dedicated sections for hanging, folded items, shoes, and accessories — all in a finish that complements your bedroom.

  • Full design consultation and 3D preview

  • Mixed hanging, shelving, and drawer sections

  • Shoe storage and accessory organization

  • Premium laminate or wood-grain finishes

  • Soft-close hardware options

  • Integrated lighting options

Luxury Suite

$10k+

Boutique or room-size closet

A full boutique closet experience — center island, floor-to-ceiling cabinetry, integrated lighting, and premium finishes throughout. Designed to function like a room, not just a storage space.

  • Center island with drawers or seating

  • Floor-to-ceiling cabinetry with crown detail

  • High-end wood, matte, or specialty finishes

  • Integrated LED lighting

  • Full accessory suite — jewelry, ties, belts

  • Mirror and vanity options

Additional storage services

Laundry Room Storage

From $1,500

Custom cabinetry and shelving systems that turn a functional space into an organized one. Wall-mounted folding stations, hamper pull-outs, and dedicated storage for supplies and linens.

Built-In Bedroom Storage

From $2,500

Integrated shelving, window seats with storage, or wardrobe walls for bedrooms without a dedicated closet. Designed to look like part of the room, not an afterthought.

Linen & Hallway Closets

From $800

Maximizing the storage you already have. Custom shelving and organization for linen closets, pantry-style storage, and any other underutilized space in your home.

Bathroom Built-Ins

Included in bath remodels

Integrated storage within your bathroom remodel — linen towers, recessed niches, under-vanity pull-outs, and medicine storage designed into the overall space.

Closet system pricing includes design, materials, and professional installation. We provide a 3D design preview before anything is ordered so you can see exactly what you're getting and make any adjustments.

All components are commercial-grade and warrantied. We don't use the same flat-pack systems you'd find at a big box store — our systems are built to your exact dimensions and designed to last.

Let's talk about

your project.

A preliminary estimate is free and comes with no obligation. We'll listen to what you have in mind, give you an honest sense of what it involves, and let you decide from there.
